The Free Chapter members celebrated our 1st Birthday in Style.
The HDCCT site was decorated with banners and balloons.
The Marshals mustered up the finest road-kill consisting of N1-Lamb, N7-Chicken and N2-veges. This was passed on to Kevin and Vani Moodley, who run Curry Quest. They applied their specialist culinary skills to provide some HOT Indian Curry with a selection of rice, rotis and salad.
Chapter Director Bruce du Toit formally opened proceedings and we toasted with bubbly Blush from Bon Courage. A lucky draw took place and Zelda Newman handed out a selection of prizes ranging from accommodation in Montagu, gift vouchers from One-and-Only Hotel to bottles of Thunderchild wine. The profits from the sale of Thunderchild wine benefit the Herberg Children's Home in Robertson.
We were entertained musically by a live band with some guest spots by our brave members. A truly memorable way to celebrate a notable milestone in the history of the Free Chapter.
